La Baia is not only a hotel with “its feet in the water”, set in one of the most beautiful places in Liguria. La Baia is above all the individuals who give it life and who look after its operations day after day, with great professionalism, but also with a lot of heart. We couldn’t offer hospitality, if we and our team did not love welcoming our guests.
And being able to transmit this love to those who choose to stay with us, is our greatest value.
Davide has the arts in his blood (his is a family of hoteliers), so for him the choice was quite natural; but I, Emanuela, originally from Piacenza and with a passion for numbers, thought that I would become an Engineer. But no: with Davide, I discovered that hospitality is what I like best. And then, I’m lucky enough to have the chance to do it here, in the Diano Marina bay. And then there are Martina and Valeria, our tiny and invaluable advisors, those who have taught us to be parents and to better accommodate and understand the needs of children. It is a beautiful sight to see how easily they make friends with young travellers who arrive at Hotel La Baia. With some of them, they form unique and special bonds, lasting beyond a holiday.
We are a blue and green Family Hotel! The blue is that of the Ligurian Sea, right here; the green is that of the environmentally sustainable choices we have always made. For example, we have introduced water dispensers and water-flasks to limit plastic consumption; we mostly deal with local producers and we prefer to choose seasonal ingredients; we also provide our guests a charging station, electric cargo bikes and push scooters to get to the car park. So, every year we work a little harder to paint family holidays green, the colour of nature and of hope: that of leaving all the children with the gift of a clean and healthy world!
